Aren’t bugs just the best? As an insectoid being, you’re certainly inclined to think so. Between your tough exoskeleton and your even tougher demeanor, you add a slice of variety to any party, and a serving of pain to any enemies.

Carapace Traits

Size
Carapace are Small creatures.

Subrace
Two Subraces of Carapace are found in the fields of the Maize, Clinger and Stinger. Choose one.

Clinger

Creepy Crawly
You gain a climb speed of 30 FPR, and can cling to just about any surface.

Stinger

Natural Advantage
You gain a natural weapon of either piercing, slashing, or bludgeoning damage. Regardless of damage type, it deals 1d10 damage.

Score Increase
Your Vim score increases by 1.

Speed
You can walk at 20 FPR.

Exoskeleton
You gain +1 to your AC at 1st level. This increases to +2 at 5th level, and +3 at 10th level.

Languages
You can speak, read, and write Thwip and the language of Flowers.
